PLIA Meetings and Newsletters
The PLIA Annual Meeting normally is held in the morning on the first Saturday in August. Recent meetings have been held in the Homestead Township Hall, in Honor. This is the Association's yearly, formal general membership meeting. For anyone interested in Platte Lake, this meeting is well worth attending.
In addition to administrative and business items and updates by the board of directors on current issues and initiatives, the agenda usually includes presentations addressing the state of the hatchery and the lake. In addition, we usually have at least one other speaker on a topic of special interest. This meeting is a great way to get up-to-speed on issues involving Platte Lake, to get your questions discussed and answered, and also is a great way to meet neighbors or to just renew acquaintances.
